Im getting my first fill tomorrow(tues) and wed im going with my son on his daycare field trip to a waterpark.... how do you feel after a fill? And am i going to be ok to go?

My dr is making me wait 6 weeks!! Not happy.

My dr also told me to take them for the rest of my life. My problem is remembering them! I have a five year old so in the morning hes getting ready for school im running out the door to work and i even tried taking them to work and i get so busy i forget! also it was too much of a hassle to try to remember one every 2 hours! I def still drink my protein shakes every morning

They told me to empty my bladder also so i didnt have to get one but i guess the dr changed his mind? It only felt uncomfortable when they took it out but bc i was on so much meds i didnt feel much

I had one which i wasnt happy about my dr told me i wasnt going to need one and i also requested not to have one. They put it after i was already out thank god. But after i was actually glad i got one. I was no way going to get up with all that iv i had in me

I noticed i was taking my vitamins daily like i was told for about 4 days after surgery .. its been 5 weeks and i havent taken one since.... i eat alot of veg and fruits and my protein drinks i really dont feel like i need more then that... at least until i have more restrictions..

I think i just ate too fast my stomach ended up like gurgling at the band area then started to feel better. I know i ate too fast i was sooo hungry and it was getting late. I wont do that again!

I havent had a fill yet im 5 weeks out. I have never felt like this. It was almost immediately after i stood up from eating dinner almost felt like a running cramp.

And what do i do???!!!!

Oh my gosh i feel like i ate a horse right by my port!! It even hurts when i breath in too much!! Help what is this???

Thats crap. I would be so upset

Ya i think they did it just to get an extra dr visit from my insurance. But it is very annoying and inconsiderate

I sas suppose to get my first fill today but bc my old dr is no longer there the new dr doesnt fill till 6 weeks. Well would have been nice to mention on the phone! I didnt need a check up thank u.

I have my first fill tomorrow. Im nervous... i heard its not bad but what im nervous about is the hoping it helps more then just the band its self!

This is my one month mark, I wont have my first fill till june 5th. I dont feel hungry 90% of the time but I always find myself looking for food or munchies. I know its a mind game but my head has more will power then my will power!! I can eat alot more then I should be able to! I have read alot of people say that the first fill didnt do anything for them, well I didnt do all of this to go backwards!! Im hoping I can get my dr to put more in my band then a normal first fill. I have no restrictions and I NEED that!! (the reason i got the band to help with my fullness and not wanting to eat). i have gained about 5lbs since I have been able to eat reg foods and i know its because i can eat with no restrictions! Some people say they didnt get a good restriction and weight loss untill 6 months after!! i cant wait 6 months more!! it has taken me a whole year before i got my surgery, now that I have it I want to be able to use it now. I dont know....

My hubby said the same thing! I think its the chewable vitamins

It has almost been a month since my surgery and the last few nights i have been able to sleep on my stomach! It feels wonderful! My port sticks out alot more then my stomach so it was hard to do anything that could possibly touch it. Im excited! I couldnt get a good night sleep laying on my back. For a while i was sleeping half on my stomach and half on my side with my leg brought up towards my chin to prop up my body and that was ok for awhile sl anyone who wants to sleep on their stomach but is afraid to try that

I was banded 5/2 and im on solid foods and havent had a fill. Im never full after i eat and hungry within 30 mins
