Even with inhabitions out the window I don't understand getting into a car and driving. In my youth I had been wasted plenty of times to the point of being sick. Though I may have lost my inhabition and climbed my fat ass onto the bar and danced in front of everyone (I don't dance) I still would never have tried to drive a car. I have slept in a car in the dead of winter because I had no other way to get home. I just don't understand how some people can just not have issues with it.

This kind of preventable tragedy pisses me off to no end. And stricter penalties for those who are pulled over. It took my FIL 5 tickets and finally hitting a tree before he was finally jailed and lost his licence. I firmly believe that your first offense (assuming you don't hurt anyone) you should lose you licence a minimum of 2 years. And the on the second one you lose your privledge of driving for life. If you can afford to go out somewhere and get wasted then you should be able to afford to take a cab back home. I have no sympathy for people who put others in harms way by their own careless behavior. I understand for some that alcholoism is a disease. I really do get that. But drunk driving is not a disease. It is irresponsibilty and stupidity all rolled up into one.

Mac if you keep putting in 27 milers and increasing your distance a bit at a time there is no reason why you could not do a century this year. My lazy girlfriend put in 5 straight days of 50+ miles last summer after probably only 25 miles total training. And she is a non fit smoker. I have full confidence you can do that century way sooner than you might think.

You might want to check with a nutrionist or a psychologist if you are having trouble with your sugar/junk food habit. Those are two things that very easily go down with a band.

You have to look at the time of day as well. Many people are much tighter in the morning than they are later on in the day. Personally I have no problems with toast as long as I eat it slow enough. And there is also no difference for me whether the toast is white, wheat, rye, etc.

I don't know. I just might give up drinking this year. Or not. So it was beautiful yesterday. I packed my bike on my car and got all my stuff together. And then i went to the hospital to see my new niece. 30 minutes turned into 2 hours. And since I could not get the full 25 in that I wanted I just picked the kids up and we went to the metropark to walk the dog and fly kites. It was worth missing the ride, we had a great time. And the connector trail at the metropark was closed so I would have only been able to do 4 miles out and 4 back instead of the full 25.

Hehe yeah I am the Republican in a Democratic state and you are vice versa. Honestly though while I might not agree with things that are going on, I really hope I am wrong in the long run. I might not have liked the election results but I still hope he can turn things around and make me want to vote for him the next time around. And that is all the politics I have for tonight lol. I think PMS is making me loud and mouthy.

Beth- Yeah I can see her posts too when they are quoted. So I felt obligated to respond. She thinks people hate her because she is Christian. I told her it was not because of of that but because she acts like a pompous ass.

Since I can see the quoted post I will respond: I have been here over 2 years, hence the number of posts I have. I am one of those "bad" parents who has a job while my kids are schooled by, wait for it...a teacher. I am pretty good at getting my work done thus leaving me time to post. 95% of my posts are in the early am during the week. But my posts are also not parallel to a novel. Usually short and sweet. Unless someone strikes a nerve. Should I have gone off my rocker this morning? Probably not. But I am just fed up and tired of not saying anything. And for your information I am a Christian myself and proud of it. But just because I am does not mean other people have to be. It does not mean I am going to bring fire and brimstone on those who have differing beliefs. That is for God to deal with at his time. I am by far not perfect. I do most everything wrong. But I refuse to look down upon another person for what their religious beliefs are. And maybe you think you don't but the way you present yourself speaks otherwise. So don't assume that people dislike you because you are Christian. They dislike you because you act like a pompous ass. See there is my imperfection at work again. Oh and even more shocking I even agree with you about Obama. Imagine that.

Actually the point I was making was that people like her who make poor choices (like purposely having more childen than she can afford) get awarded with government assistance while others who need it just can't quite get it. It's bullshit. It's bullshit how many people I see abuse the system every single day. I couldn't care less if she decided to have 300 children if she could afford them. But this dumb bitch would continue spawning if she could do it on her own because that is another effing tax deduction. There are so many out there like her. Why get a job when you can have a little sex and pop out a brand new welfare baby 9 months later. Don't worry the government will take care of it. You can have all the money you want. Go get your nails done. Go buy your designer clothes. You get your MAC makeup. So yeah, I am bitter and I am pissed. People very low (but not low enough) on the rate of pay totem pole get screwed. Hell at that time I did not even want any extras. I wanted to be able to feed my family and put a roof over their heads. And glad you believe she will be a loving Mom to her 14 kids. It already shows how much she cared about the 6 she had when she went to even add one more that she could not afford.
