  1. Good to see the forum up and working again lol.
  2. I have 39 pounds until goal and I can't even believe it. It seems so surreal that at almost a year out I am almost there.
  3. Alex has been on the prowl lately closing super long threads. I hope we don't get caught next and have to start a while new bycyling thread lol. I kinda like our 303 pages of funness.
  4. Lauren, if you eat everything but the flesh of an animal you can call yourself a vegetarian. It is a lot harder than you might think. Especially if you decided to go vegan. There is dairy and eggs hidden in a shit ton of foods. I would definitely recommend reading up on it and talking to your nutritionist to make sure you are getting adequate amounts of nutriants.
  5. My most used appliance is my veggie steamer/ rice cooker. food processor wise you really get what you pay for. I agree that the bullet sucks (mine also broke). If you are only planning on using it for a short time while you are in the mushy/pureed/soft food stage then get a cheaper model. If you are planning on using it for life get a more expensive one and read the customer reviews.
  6. Weekly Report: Cardio: 300 min. Strength: 60 min. Weight: 194
  7. Yeah after my marathon snow shovelling session at 4:15am I just wanna go home and curl up in a ball and sleep. Sleepy sounds so good right now.
  8. I think she was kidding ZZ. At least I hope so lol.
  9. Holy fucking resistance class shit. I seriously almost did not make it to my car without my legs giving out. My whole body is numb. I have a bad feeling that tomorrow will be hell on erath.
  10. A vegetarian does not eat any meat or meat products but still will consume eggs, dairy, honey, etc. A vegan does not eat anything from an animal source. No eggs, dairy, honey, etc.
  11. I hate the Giants. Mostly because Eli is a pompous ass. Don't get me wrong, I definitely want New England to win the whole damn thing, but there would be just some sweet poetic justice if the Chargers were to play and beat the Giants in the SB.
  12. I have been eating a lot of beans, legumes and soy. I have soy milk daily in my cereal. There are also plenty of soy protien shakes on the market to get protien in.
  13. That's one opinion. Personally I thought it was brilliant. It was written exactly how I would talk to my friends and that made it a much more fun and interesting read for me.
  14. HOly shit I just realized that I am less than 40 pounds to goal....
  15. Cook healthy things silly. I hate head games. But I am still scared to death to eat a piece of bread without toasting it first.
  16. Anna how old are your teenagers? The book is awesome and a very good read but there is a lot of bad language in it. They say fuck, bitch, shit a whole lot. It definitely helps to keep your attention though. A couple of examples are: Butter=Fat Cheese=Fat People who think these can be low fat= Fucking Morons coffee is for pussys. Low fat food is a chemical shitstorm I personally found it to be hilarious and that the authors made their point very well. I have been vegan for a week and a half now, and veggie for 2.5 weeks. Its not alot but it's a start.
  17. ZZZ!!!!! Congrats on the twoterville. That is friggin awesome. As is the veggie chili. Definitely lept me know how it goes. I am still tired. I watched football all weekend and got all worked up last night when Dallas lost. But my future second husband won on Saturday night which was lovely.
  18. It is not possible that you have the largest calves ever...I hold that title lol. If it is all muscle there is really nothing you can do but pray. Mine have shrank a little bit but most of it is muscle so it jsut looks bulky.
  19. My stomach and arms are both horrible looking with all the extra skin. I am definitely going to need surgery on my tummy.
  20. I think in general self pays do a bit better. Not always, and there certainly are plenty of us insurance people doing well, but in general. I say this because most of the people willing to shell out $15000 of their own money are ready for the change and have the maturity to handle it. Whereas, insurance will approve those who meet the criteria even if they are not mentally ready. So yes, it does ultimately booil down to maturity and readiness.
  21. My ears are ringing. I think I may possibly be deaf in one or both ears. The concert was amazing. We had a blast. The kids loved it.
  22. Yuck J that blows. Too bad you can't combine the 4 titties into 2 and then you would not need implants. I think I am pretty lucky skin wise. I mean I obviously need the panni and would like the LBL but I will be okay without it. I don't think I am going to look like JulieNYC did (and damn does she look friggin amazing now or what) but I will probably have a little sag. Now the boos are a different story. Already I can pull em out flat in front of me and they look like boobie pankcakes
  23. What's better than the gift of plastic surgery? I wish I had a Sugar Mama...errr Daddy.
  24. Great job everyone!!!! I have a busy day today (It's Hannah Montana concert night lol) so I am taking a half day at work to get my workout in. Yep it is that important.
