  1. I guess not. And congrats on losing another pound J!
  2. Was it you sometime back in the day saying that you loved Capri Suns? If so I just bought my kids some Capri Suns called "Roaring Waters" that are fruit flavored water and have only 35 calories. They taste pretty much like regular capri suns.
  3. My favorite Peyton commercial is the one where he is at the butcher chanting "Chop that meat" And the coffeehouse one lol
  4. You forgot sausage wallet......
  5. You have to do the work for it. It is only a tool not a miracle. Think of it as a hammer. If the hammer is just lying there with no one using it it would be useless. If someone picks it up and starts hammering away the work is getting done. The 88 pounds I have lost I have worked my ass off for. Yes the band absolutely helps with the eating, especially when I want to really pig out on something, but I am still the one making the choices as to what I put in my mouth. I am the one exerising daily. The band is only there to back me up.
  6. I think ultimately I will be a 5K girl if I stick to running. I like to be one with myself while sitting on a bike, not running. The shorter distance running the better lol. I havea really good training plan but I might have to pick up the book for a good laugh.
  7. Hey no problem. I just want to share the awesome info with everyone else. I just hope that more insurances start following suit and the surgical option becomes more readily avalailable for those who need it.
  8. I am so close to another decade and I wanna be there like now.
  9. Dang girl I am glad you are safe. That crazy shit hit us last night. Went from high forties to about 9 degrees this morning with a wind chill of -10. The wind blew so hard it snapped the 4x4s right in half on 4 panels of my privacy fence.
  10. I would rather it be Peyton than his sniveling whiney baby brother. GOOOOOOOOOOOO PATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. crazycat I have read that before. Hilarious!!!!!!
  12. Answered =)
  13. This is brand new this year. A BMI over 50 you do not need medical documentation. A BMI below that and you need 6 months. It should be standard for all BCBS unless you have a specification in your policy that states it does not cover or it covers with no restrictions.
  14. I run on the track at the Y. I am trying to stay away from treadmills because I want to do real running. I use my headphones which helps. I think I just get so bored that I want to stop. Just training for the running and the biking for the muddy buddy.
  15. My plateaus are generally broken by changing something up, either diet or exercise.
  16. The point it that I need to workout and running is the best thing I can do for myself right now. I said I was going to do this half marathon in April and dammit I am going to do it. Plus I want to be ready for the Muddy Buddy. I will probably not do the marathon in October but we shall see. I just feel like I need to be doing something and maybe if I keep doing it I will start to like it.
  17. My first thought was progress pictures to be honest with you. At 100 pounds lost I am geting a mani/pedi. At goal I am getting a tatoo. It is going to be small and on my foot. I am not sure exactly when it will be yet but I want something that pays tribute to the changes in my life.
  18. I will probably get my consult done some time over the summer. I am sure I will be to goal by then since I will be outside riding as soon as it is warm enough. I had a breakdown last night because I hate running. I can not stand it. I keep doing it trying to make myself like it but I don't. What else can I say? I am biker. It is in my blood. I am going stir crazy inside the house.
  19. My insurance will cover the panni easily. I already have the documentation of rashing and haning skin, etc. My plan is to have it done the beginning of November and using my short term disability to take off work until the first of the year. That way I only have to use about 10 of my vacation days to get like 8 weeks off work.
  20. I do, on February 6th. =) I am certainly proud of my progress. It may not be where I wanted it to be but I have done damn well this past year. We all have done damn well. And now since I have pushed my plastic surgery date back to Novemberish it really does not matter in the grand scheme of thing when I do actually reach goal. I know I can lose it by November without really trying too hard.
  21. And if you have a BMI over 50 you do not need any do not need any medical documentation at all.
  22. I can not believe I am 35 pounds from goal.
  23. Your best bet for solid protien is fish, followed by boneless skinless chicken breast. Liquid wise any high protien/low carb shake would suffice. I like Matrix 5.0 or Whey Gourmet.
  24. Massages are wonderful.
  25. Yesterday when I came into work the marquee on the freeway read 47 degrees. This morning it read 15. WTF. Not to mention the wind is about 35 mph putting the windchill right around -10. I hate winter. Oh yeah and the wind blew my privacy fence down for the third time this winter. And it took a few more panels with it this time. Fucking ass wind.
