I am really trying but I do not know why anyone would think that feeling like your chest is going to explode is a good thing. And this is at maybe 4mph lol. I can bike at 15+mph for 50 miles but I can't even run 1 mile in 10 minutes. It is really kind of sad.

Tell me about it. I rode my whole tour on that thing. It is one step up from riding on a brick.

D I did not eat all of that food. I so wanted to though. I posted that pic mostly for J because I knew she would get a kick out of it. I did not walk up that giant hill. A lot of people did though. The picture did not really do it justice. It was about a half mile long and I was doing between 5-8 mph on my granny gear. It was a rough hill day lol. Yes that is my road bike. I heart her. I did have a few cycling jerseys. I got them on sierra trading post for like $10 each. They are supposed to be XLs but I think they are mediums. Way too tight for my liking but I don't care what anyone else thinks. They would be fine if I had no pannus.

Well most importantly we went to a winery in the town we were in yesterday and had $100 worth of wine shipped to our houses lol. Yeah I had another semi hungover ride this morning hehe.

Well lovies, 268 miles later and I am home, home, home. It is going to feel damn good to sleep in my own bed tonight. I am incredibly exhausted and emotional. I do not have any words to describe the feeling I had when I crossed that finish line. It was a damn good feeling though. And one of the best vacations I have ever been on. I will have pics and a nice long description of my week but first I need to rest. J I missed you too, and I had no service on my phone =(

Grapes, I get up to the UP once a year myself since I have family in Munising. D, That ride does not include meals. There was an option to add on Breakfast for $5 a day and dinner for $7 per day. I did get the dinners but not the breakfast. I figure i will just take some Clif bars and we are planning on stopping for lunch along the way each day. All in all with my trip fee, food and jersey I paid $190 for the whole week. Most of the other rides here are about $300+ but do include meals. HP that would be sweet if you guys did the PALM next year. Register early though. They open registration at the end of January and are filled by mid Feb. They take 700 riders. I sent my application in on Feb 12 and was rider number 647. I am seriously considering taking Korrine next year if I can get a tag a long for her to ride.

Lovegrapes most of us do use a coputer to track miles and speed. I think my brand is a Catseye but there re many different kinds at your LBS (local bike shop). Where in Michgian are you located?
