I had gas (burping) for two weeks! I sounded like a man lol what helped me was the gas x. The dissolving strips. Walking helped too. I was banded 4/27

Well so far so good. I burp, omg do I burp lol and it (my chest) hurts like a booger until I burp lol. I went to the movies yesterday and I think all the sitting on that chair hurt my port site it's been a bit tender but I'm ok. I try to drink a lot of water and walking helps. When I get hungry I drank my shake and sugar-free popsicles. NOW when I get hungry I'll drink juice. I'm ready to eat tho lol I want my mushies!

I haven't gotten that far, im one day post op lol but have u tried a little bit of a thick soup? like tomato soup? they also said to try like baby food......i would only do the fruit baby food tho lol

I DID IT! I DID IT! Omg I'm banded......i feel......wow lol I'll write more ltr I feel like I'm going bk to sleep. Sry for short hand but I'm on my cell n I feel sleepy again lol

So i had surgery today and my tongue ring did not close! I guess i got lucky lol. I took it out st 6 and put it back in at 930ish. everyone is different though so idk if other will close fast.

Awe ty ty, Yes I did two weeks of liquid. I had to drink 4-5 Atkins shakes. My all time favs were the carmel coffee and the dark chocolate yum yum lol

My Surgery is tomorrow and.....I'M NERVOUS/ SCARED/ EXCITED EVERYTHING LOL Any advice anyone can give me? How was everyone elses' surgery?

My boss said today "omg really? well um....listen to everything they tell you ok...EVERYTHING" like really? no S**T OMG i was pissed! My other boss said "I've heard bad things but none the less GOOD LUCK I support you" and he hugged me, it made me feel awesome

yea i've had mine for over 3 years. i can't remember if it closed fast the other tmes (i've had it dome 3 times) lol but either way to play it safe i'll take it out and if it closes i'll think about getting it done again.

I agree, I figured what's more important, a piercing that can be re-done or my health. Um I think I will go with health lol

I have a body piercings and my dr said that I could use plastic barbells. And when I asked about my tounge ring he said I could do the same, but wouldnt it get in the way if they put a tube in my mouth? BTW ive never had surgery so I/m new to this.

So I'm planning surgery for the end of the month on April, I have never had surgery So Im planning to take a week off of work. I work in a pharmacy so I stand for 8 hours a day. I have been reading something along the lines of self injections? is that true? anything or any other advice anyone can please give me is apreciated. i posted a forum but i havent gotten any responses lol so im getting antsy/nervous

Hi, My name is Jessica (I'm 24) and I will be getting my Lap-Band at the end of April and I'm nervous. I have been reading about self injections. Is this true? I guess I'm like excited and nervous at the same time. I have never been "under the knife" so I guess you can say I'm a "virgin" lol. My boyfriend is very supportive. I told him that from what I read I may get "depressed" so to just hangin there with me. Of course he's a bit scred because he thinks I may lose interest in him but I keep reassuring him that it doesn't even cross my mind. Well mainly I just need ANY & ALL advice anyone is willing to give me. And lots and lots of prayer! Thanks! Jess
