Hi, My name is Jessica (I'm 24) and I will be getting my Lap-Band at the end of April and I'm nervous. I have been reading about self injections. Is this true? I guess I'm like excited and nervous at the same time. I have never been "under the knife" so I guess you can say I'm a "virgin" lol. My boyfriend is very supportive. I told him that from what I read I may get "depressed" so to just hangin there with me. Of course he's a bit scred because he thinks I may lose interest in him but I keep reassuring him that it doesn't even cross my mind. Well mainly I just need ANY & ALL advice anyone is willing to give me. And lots and lots of prayer! Thanks! Jess

Hello! I see that you posted this a month ago, and i also know you prob have already had ur surgery since now it is the start of may. I hope all went well. I was 25 when i got my band (a year ago) and i was also a "virgin" to the knife lol. I was scared and nervous as hell, but once it was said and done... i never had any regrets.
