Maybe i read my scale wrong the last time i weighed. Or could it be Water retention, i have been drinking loads of Soups, could it be the salt? I do feel really puffy and bloated. Im really down about it, need to move my ticker back.

She told me i would have 30 pounds off in a month but i didnt believe her, sure enough a few days ago i managed it! I had to txt her to tell her she was wrong, i lost 30 lbs in 17 days!

Hi there, sorry to hear about this. Must be pretty scary! My only thought is, if you had only stopped for a few weeks surely there would still be plenty in your system? I think it takes a while for it to leave our body. You did the right thing getting back on in again though, no point taking any chances! Maybe some others will have had a similar experience!

I am really, really struggling to get the protein in. The only thing i like to eat at the moment is soup. I have tried adding the unflavoured protein to the soups but the unflavoured part on the tub was a lie! Yesterday i had a protein shot which caused dumping, so they are a no go for me. What would happen if i only hit 40g protein a day until? I can just about manage half a shake and half a bottle of isopure. Your thoughts, as always are appreciated!

I so hope you guys are right about this. Although everything went great for me and I am doing well, i keep thinking that in a few years medics will be dissing this procedure and it will get banned or something. The rest of us left with very little stomach, nothing we can do!

Im sure i had it yesterday. I drank half of a Protein shot quickly. It was really sugary and syrupy. Pretty much straight away, i got funny pains, almost like period pains and i knew i needed the toilet. I had only just been about ahf an hour before. It was more solid than diarreah but felt just like it. sorry tmi! After i had passed it i felt fine. No other symptoms apart from the pains and needing the toilet asap!

Agree with starry Tiff, have you thought about doing something professionally? Your advice is always spot on, non-judgmental and most important for me, easy to understand!

I have one at home, it is really good but im not sure when is safe to use it? Im only 2 weeks out.

I am feeling really miserable and pathetic. Runny nose that wont stop, sore head, fatique, funny eyes. Do you have any suggestions? I am so scared to take anything in case it damages my pouch. We cant get tylenol here in UAE but paracetomol is the same thing. What would you do/take? Love from my bed, in pajamas, surrounded by tissues.

Did you use liquid tylenol or just the tablets?

RE bladder and urine infection, it certainly doest sound like that. Ive had a few over the years, used to get them a lot but that was never the kind of pain. Does it hurt when you pee? Usually that is the main sign, well for me anyway. Know everyone is different. I would pee and it would be sore then when i was finished i would still have a sharp stinging pain continue. UUUggghhh. Flashbacks. Horrible! I have had consipation and what you describe does sound like that.

Can you find another hospital with a bariatric department?I think i would have done exactly the same thing as you!

Ok, I usually REALLY like my sleep. During the week i like a good 8 hours, but since surgery the most i can manage is 3/4. Im up and down and tossing and turning. Its driving me mad! Has this happened to anyone else and did you find a solution for it? Maybe just time? I go back to work on Sun, working with small children so i need a good sleep before then!

Honestly, the pain was only bad for a day, and that was very hazy! Im 12 days out now and i can barely remember it. All i can think about now is how quickly my scale is moving down! Keep checkin in on this board every day and ask us any questions you have. That is what kept me going!
