vitamins
I haven't been sleeved yet either and wanted to start on my vitamins ahead of time. I bought the sublinqual B12 at walmart for $6.00 and a giant chewable vitamin (that tastes just like Flintstone's) at BJ's warehouse for about $11.00. My kids think it's funny that I'm taking their "old" childrens vitamins!!

how to make protein jello/pudding recipe
I'm a little over a week out before having my sleeve surgery and was curious if anyone knew how to add protein (unflavored powder, etc...) to SF jello/pudding mixes at home so that I don't have to buy them online. Thanks for the responses ahead of time

How do you deal with negativity????
I've been very forthcoming regarding my decision to have the sleeve surgery and I've had a tremendous amount of support from my family, friends, and coworkers with 1 or 2 exceptions. In the last few days 2 of my coworkers commented about how good I look because I've lost 25 lbs. (preop - I'm scheduled to be sleeved on 3/29) and they don't understand why I can't just "keep doing what you're doing" with dieting and "why would you alter your body like that when you know you can lose weight". Needless to say -- I was depressed after hearing all this. I've consistently lost weight (and gained it back over the years). I guess what I'm asking is -- what is a good "come back" for this negativity?

liquid diet help.....
I had my official "preop/history & physical" appointment today with my surgeon. He told me I'd be on Clear liquids for a week postop, then move onto full liquids for weeks 2 & 3. My question is what do you eat on your full liquid diet to avoid getting bored. It looks like the Soups in the store all have "chunks" in them. Also, can anyone suggest a good website to order Protein foods. I'm being sleeved on March 29th and want to get all my "necessities" in order.

2 weeks and counting
My surgery is also MARCH 29th - I can't wait to start being a loser!! I started the process back in November and at the time it seemed like it would take forever for the months to pass, but here it is and it did seem to go quickly. Good luck on your surgery!!

changing sizes......
I was wondering if anyone could clue me in as to how fast you buy new clothes. Don't get me wrong, I'm very excited to be able to buy them soon, however I'm not independantly wealthy!! I've seen some people on this site say they outgrew their clothes in a matter of weeks - is that really the case? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated (e.g. should I start buying them when I see they are on sale, buy them tighter in hopes of fitting into them, etc...). Thanks.
