How much is everyone able to eat?
Hi all, I am 3.5 months out and seem to be able to eat a lot more than other sleevers. I am eating 6oz max per meal. BUT i probably could eat a little more sometimes if i allowed myself. I still am losing maybe 2-3 lbs a week. But just worried that i am setting myself up to fail. I am making better food choices and don't eat as much as pre-op. But im not eating a few spoonfulls and feeling full either like some other sleevers. Please let me know how much you eat. THANK YOU

Eating "Normal"...can't even imagine
i am 3 months out right now and struggling with how much is too much to eat. I am always measuring my food ( even have a scale at work! ) and seem to eat betwee 4-6 oz each meal. I seem to be one of the sleevers that never lost their hunger. And i always worry if im eating too much. Like i can now finish a hamburger patty ( usually turkey) or a serving of salmon. And in my head im thinking "wow i am eating too much." BUT it is not the same amount i could eat before thats for sure! But im just worried that since im eating more than when i could a month out, what if i keep being able to eat more. That will not be good! Hope im not worrying you. I am eating a lot more than other sleevers who get full off of a few spoonsfulls But it really isn't as much as before. Good luck!

Is there a normal amount of food?
i am 3 months out and have always been able to eat more than other sleevers. I now eat no more than 6 oz. each meal. I could probably do more, but i too am scared of "stretching" my stomach. Good luck!

seem to be able to eat more as the day goes on....
I think for you, your tummy hasn't healed enough and won't be able to signal you that your are full yet. I would continue to measure out your food just to be safe. I felt the exact same way !! i always was able to drink and eat more than the other sleevers, and i became kinda obsessed with how much i was eating because i am so freaked out about stretching out my sleeve. And yogurts and soups go right through just like liquids so you really won't feel the restriction just yet If you are concerned, i would call your surgeon's office . good luck to you on your journey and i hope things continue to get better for the both of us

seem to be able to eat more as the day goes on....
I am hoping this is normal, for some sleevers anyway. I eat breakfast , sometimes its a really small meal like 2oz and i am FULL. And i won't eat anything until lunch time. But then after lunch, it seems like i have to fight myself from eating again. LIke i feel hungry. Im off work at 5pm, and then BOOM when i get home, i feel like i can eat anything. i don't let myself but i feel like i could. i will eat dinner ( maybe 4-5 oz) and then 2 hrs later feel hungry hungry hungry!!! I might eat a little more meat ( my meals are primarily meat and maybe some veggies) . is this normal?? ive accepted that i might be able to eat more than other 3 month out sleevers. And ive also accepted that i will probably always have my hunger as some sleevers have lost their hunger after surgery. I have not be lucky like that Anyone else going thru something like this??

15 pounds?
15 lbs is great!! Don't be discouraged. I understand about comparing your weight loss to others. I do that too. I am 3 months out and have only lost 50 lbs. BUT i am thankful i am losing. I might not lose as fast as some other people, but thank goodness i am losing. KEep working your sleeve and don't be discouraged

6 weeks out and hungry!
i am 3 months out and have never lost my hunger. I eat every 3 hrs or so, sometimes sooner. But i am eating about 4-6oz per meal. My surgeon said that i was on target. I do tend to stick to protein. But somewhat discouraged because i seem hungry too often. I wish i was one of the people that had to remind themselves to eat. Good luck to everyone!

My progress so far...3 months out
Thank u so much friends!! My weight loss is averaging 10 lbs a month sometimes less and I just felt like I was losing as fast as everyone. But when I put a before and recent picture side by side, I can see the difference. I still have a lot of weight to lose. But it juz reassures me that my sleeve is working. And even if I'm losing more lbs like I was hoping, I still am losing. Thank u everyone. The kind words are so encouraging. I truly appreciate all of u!

My progress so far...3 months out
Thank u iegal! Hope I'm as successful as u some day!!! Veda: I see you are going thru the new program! My surgeon was dr.braverman. Loved him!!! No complications whatsoever and had no pain post op. I only lost maybe 13 lbs pre-op I think. It was a struggle for me, and I failed a few times. Are u using their pre-op shakes? If so, buy sum sugar free syrups to change up the shakes so u don't get tired of them. But don't buy too much. I bought every flavor under the sun and now they taste so sweet to me so I have a ton of bottles. Good luck! U are in the best hands!!!
