Day 9 for me. I found V8 has some new Soups it comes in a box with two 1 cup servings. I just picked up Garden brocoli soup. Its awesome. No big chunks has the consistensy of like pea soup. What a change from the freakin atkins shakes ahhhhh.. You should try them! Good luck!

I am paying cash for my lapband. But they are requiring that I pay for my own bloodwork. Does anyone know how much this usually is? And what kind of tests they do? Thanks

Hi Thanks for the info, was wondering about the bloodwork you had at Quest, do you remeber the cost and what kind of lab work was it, this is not covered in the $9,900 i dont believe.

Hi, yes my dr. is dr. marsden also and my patient advocate is Amanda also! Thanks so much for all you info! It really does help alot! So Dr. Marsden is an ass? I just need him to do his job and shut up lol. I dont have a regular physician here at home do you think this will be a problem I know in the paperwork they ask about it. Is there anything special i need to bring? Do they do the surgery at the True Results facility? Thanks Amanda

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I have my consultation on March 30th and my surgery on April 1st. I am paying cash so I didnt have to go through all that extra stuff. I havent even seen a doctor yet. I live in Downsville, Louisiana so I am about 5 hours away from the richardson facility. I am on the 2 week pre op diet. I am having my ekg and blood work on March 30th. And getting the results March 31st and lap band on April 1st. They had said something about putting me up in a hotel for one night after surgery?? Did you do that? What tests did you have? Where they friendly?? Thanks!

I am on day 4 of the liquid diet. I can say it gets better everyday. The Protein shakes(Im using EAS soy protein) can be alittle hard to get down at times. I have lost almost 10 pds. My surgery is set for April 1st in Dallas/Richardson Texas. I cant wait. I know this diet can be hard but it only helps b/c after you have your new pouch you will not be able to eat like you did before anyways!! Good luck! Amanda

Hi, My sister and I are both on the 2 week pre-op diet. Today is the second day and it hasnt been so bad! We are both having our surgeries on April 1st in Dallas Texas. You can google "Liver Reduction diet" and it explains alot! Amanda
