  1. Okay, I'm at 104.5 for month.
  2. Way to go, Daisy! 135! That's awesome. Sorry about your day. I say tell them all to "shove it!" . Wish I had that food you through away. Boy, I didn't know it would be so hard to not have leftovers to chomp on! LOL.
  3. Dear lord. That is truly weird to take two years but hey, you are sleeved and PIF!
  4. So excited for you! Welcome to year three! I'm there too and think I finally have maintenance somewhat figured out. Lol. Congrats!
  5. AWESOME!!'n
  6. Doesn't Take much to get y'all started, does it? LOL.
  7. I just love the pic of you. The background is AMAZEBALLS (as Coops would say). And you look really skinny.
  8. Okay, cleared my saved logins and restarted and it's fixed!!!! Thanks, Alex and Laura. . My advocate. Ha!
  9. Um, no. Here is my current. Sorry. But I had already chosen gastric sleeve under surgery. What am I missing?
  10. I can wait.
  11. Leave it to BTB! Bahahaha!
  12. I did. Yesterday. No response. So, LV, prod him for me, please.
  13. Found this buried (or for me it was) on a forum. Good read to what we already knew. http://www.npr.org/blogs/thesalt/2013/07/29/205845319/two-day-diets-how-mini-fasts-can-help-maximize-weight-loss?ft=1
  14. Can someone please tell me why I only see lapband threads on my "current" when I am sleeve and it shows that on my surgery type?? Is there anything I can do to correct it?
  15. CGJ, I think you just have the "after" effects working right now. I don't know about y'all, but the anticipation of something and the accomplishing it carries me through and THEN I usually hit a "low" for a while. I agree with Laura, once you are back to a normal routine you will find that you haven't lost much, if any, strength. It's just timing. You have done well and will continue to accomplish what you set out to do.
  16. Man, I WISH I had some leftover turkey! Maybe I'll cook a small one.
  17. Well, glad all seem to have had good Thanksgiving events or non-events! Ha! It was a weird one for me. Drove in for Branson, went to Golden Corral for lunch and had about 3 bites dressing, an ounce or so of turkey, couple bites sweet potatoes and that was it. . The ONLY thing I sometimes miss is the sheer enjoyment of just good food. Does that make sense? AND my big regret. No leftovers to enjoy another 3 bites later. Ha! But, and this blows me away- down another pound to 142.2. Even free styling all week. So I guess I'm not eating at much as I thought I was. LV, that sounds like an awesome day. Brown, glad you had a good day and Kim, I wish I had a video of the ride!!!! LOL. Sarsar, keep up the good work. Glad you daughter and you are having a good time. Globe, thinking if you. All my other peeps, Peace!!!!
  18. Looking good! That is exactly the way I dress! Love sweater type dresses and love tights! Boots too!
  19. AMAZEBALLS! Bloody wicked. Crikeys! That's all the slang I've got! Proud of you!!
  20. Find a lifestyle that works for you quickly! If logging it all on MFP or tracking works do it. Also, remember you WILL find you are able to consume many more foods as time goes on and it will be tempting to graze every few hours. Set a schedule and stick to it. Don't let one or two become five or size pounds.
  21. As a society, I believe we are conditioned to thinness. Even as a former "fattie" at times I already find myself somewhat looking differently at a larger person than a thinner one. And I WAS that person. People feel free to ask if we've lost weight and even somewhat angrily. Lol. But not so with weight gain. I got used to hearing it from everybody I knew when I initially lost weight and like FYE, it stopped when I picked up a few pounds I had lost. And began again when I re-lost the weight gain. "Are you STILL losing weight?" You are SOOO thin? almost accusingly. Lol
  22. Globe, i am so sorry for what you are going through. I'm praying that you will be able to find help and direction in the days ahead concerning your health and employment. Like others have said, I would talk to People about disability and perhaps Medicaid if you could qualify to give you some flexibility and allow you options. It must be unbelievably frustrating to feel that you have no options right now. Stay strong. Better days are ahead for you I believe.
  23. This is/was my answer to finally getting a maintenance program that WORKS for me but more importantly, I lost the approximately 27 pounds I had regained over a year and a half period. For me, it builds discipline and structure into my lifestyle. And once established, the routine, I feel, aids my sleeve in working much more efficiently. I started June and dropped the added pounds by October and have continued to lose another 7 or so taking me below my original goal of 150 to about 143. I am reaching for 140 as a target (maybe 139 looks prettier. Ha!) but I am SOOO pleased with this plan of eating and the lifestyle it gives me. I plan to continue it as a way of life. Hope that helps someone if you are needing an approach to get to goal (vets) or maintain.
  24. Hope every one has a great Thanksgiving and may all our "calories" melt away!!!
