  1. So I just had my 2 mos follow up after enduring another one week stall I am 28 lbs down since surgery. 72 down overall. So i ask him about Proteins vs carbs etc. He told me not to worry about that, and that I should be eating the least amount of calories a day that fill me up. He said its all about your caloric intake. I am so confused ughhhhhhhh But after stalling...I will try it. But he told me not to worry and that the weight will come off.
  2. my doc told me no sex for 2 wks...as for masturbation...it was about a week... a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do
  3. i dont think so....im about the same minus the spinach
  4. Tiffy I can totally see how you would get frustrated. I'm a relative newbie and it annoys me.
  5. I know I have been guilty of this as well...and sometimes you just want a personalized answer. But a lot of generic questions have already been asked and can be found using the search function....is it me
  6. Thanks again guys! Bear in mind 44 lbs were before surgery....since surgery I have lost 26lbs looking at the wedding pics omg i was HUGE
  7. It seems our weight loss patterns are similar. I stalled at 6 weeks (2 weeks ago) also. This past week I lost 5 lbs. Dont give up. I definitely keep my Water above 80 ozs and carbs in the 30g or below range. I don't know if it's that, walking, or just the nature of the sleeve, but the scale is moving again. It will for you too!
  8. I am posting this here because I am not a success YET, but i have hit the 70lb mark today! The scale is moving again and I am ecstatic. I have started walking at a local park and I am sure that is helping. I feel better than I have in a long while, and I have quite a ways to go! Loving my sleeve Attached are some pics starting at my bffs wedding a week before my consultation, along my 6 mos pre-op diet and about 2 weeks ago which was approximately 6 weeks out. As you can see I am a camera ***** and I am sure I will enjoy taking pics even more now
  9. I am down 69 lbs and still wearing the same clothes...i refuse to buy until i am in a noticeably new size. dont get me wrong I have to belt my pants and the booty is saggy but it isnt enough of a difference for me to start spending money yet. i too dont see it when I look in the mirror but definitely do in pics, and everyone comments on it so they see it. I agree with the exercise. Meggie I wish I had measured also
  10. i understand, I feel like I am eating the same things over and over...I say try variations of the same food...different types of chicken or fish prepared differently...that breaks up the monotony a lil
  11. I agree with the starvation mode...500 cals seems too low...most ppl are 600-800 cals, and even my NUT told me that is to low for me, aim for 1000 but I still am somewhere between 750 and 900
  12. maybe that's my issue...i lost 44 lbs pre op and approximately 22 lbs in almost 8 weeks...
  13. Thats great! It does get better with time!
  14. i really wanna say I stalled around week 3 but i cant remember I didn't start tracking my weight and food intake until 5/16. I wish I did
  15. i started at 343 and I had to do a 6 mos diet....I lost about 28 before my 2 week liquid diet. I lost 16 on the liquid diet and started surgery at 299.3 (4/11) My post op visit was 9 days post op and I weighed in at 290 that was on 4/20. On 5/16 I was 280 and fluctuated between there and 282 until 5/27 when i weighed in at 279.8 as of yesterday 6/3 I was 276.8 In total I have lost 66.2 lbs. 44 pre op and about 22.2 post op in just under 8 weeks I am only aware of one stall...because the 3 weeks I was out of work, I only weighed myself that one time on 4/20 and I didn't weigh again until 5/2. But I do feel my weight loss has been slow.
  16. I do because I have always been secretive about how much i weighed...especially being so close to 350lb...and i have lost almost 70 lbs but I am still huge. Ppl noticed that I have lost weight but i feel like if i tell people i have lost 60 something lbs they will be like really where
  17. i have been doing 3 meals and 2 snacks but i am gonna try 4 meals
  18. Welcome back first of all. I was wondering about you! I had stalled also...a couple of ppl recommended getting the Proteins to at least 70, carbs to 30 or under and Water to at least 80 ozs...it did get the scale moving, albeit slowly...but moving nonetheless. i also track using fatsecret on my blackberry tracking can be annoying but at least you know you're hitting your mark.
