Good luck Judy. We'll be thinking about you. Deb
  2. I've seen the commericals and the ads in magazines for the shoes called Shape-ups by Skechers. The ad states they are designed to help burn more calories, tone muscles, and improve posture.... etc. Sounds to good to be true to me. My question is has any one bought them and do they do what they are suppose to do? In my opinion they are some ugly ass shoes....... but I'm willing to purchase them if they do what they are advertised to do. Holla back. Deb

  9. Wow... three years and I thought three months was to long. I just had a consultation with my surgeon yesterday on the 14th and he uses a 34f bougie and he fully expects me to lose all of my excess weight as long as I follow the guidelines. Which I will!!!! Good luck Sue. Deb

  16. I just learned my surgeon that I have my consultation with on Monday has performed over 1000 bariatric surgeries which includes 100 of those being the sleeve. He comes highly recommended and his facility is a Center of Excellence. He has had no leaks, no deaths, but one stricture. Should I be concern about the one stricture and what questions if any should I ask him about it? Any input would be helpful. Deb
  17. Excellent. Everythings seems to be going well for you. Hopefully soon I'll be joining that losers club with you.

I can't do this on my own. From what I've read on this site the sleeve is a great tool. I think you will be very happy about your decision. Good luck. Deb
