  1. try to see a therapist..your problem is more of an inner type.. talking to one can help a lot. good luck

Im controlling myself..its hard..protein drinks help A LOT as they keep me full. Im feeling good..30 pounds lighter and still going down... in like 2 weeks ill be going for my first fillI m happy to announce that until today thanks to god and a LOT of will power im still in my mushy/semi solid state and havent cheat at all. 3.    no one reacted to a post in a topic: 4 weeks post op and eating alot
  4. me too..its weird but it does go away...I heard different theories....one of them is stress..the other one is that your stomach is sored and touches a nerve that sends a signal to your brain which sends another signal to your throat..pretty much making it think that you over ateits annoying but will go away
  5. so because u can eat and drink EVERYTHING that your doctor told you not to as this part of your surgery is the healing process, you decide to consume it. Remember you went through surgery BECAUSE of this. Stay focused..been able to eat something DOES NOT mean u should eat it.self control is really important with the lapband. good luck
  6. absolutely true mattie...and thats a question i had as well..how some docs do somethings totally different than others..I think it comes down to experience and to what theyve seen in other patients before...they stick to whatever have worked for them
  7. Mattie, why woudl u do that to yourself? i mean..the surgery costed money, time and sacrifce..you endengared your life..and u got it because ur not healthy at the moment..why would u sabotage yourself?? If your not feeling well..take protein, vitamins, cream soups, refried beans, sft scramble eggs, mashed avocado, chili, etc..why risk with food that can get stucked?Just trying to understand why would u go thru this procedure that risks ur life to only sabotage it yourself?please dont take my post as a mean, rude or nothng like that..its a sincere honest question that i had since getting banded
  8. I want to have a glass of scotch..but not doing it..i was just banded on the 21st
  9. Im getting back my appetite (im in mid week 2)

  13. u can get liquid protein...not only on shake form..u can take protein shots (35 grams!),protein water(15 grams) (isopure) ,myoplex lite (17 grams)... you need to explore, explore and keep exploring..i did reading and also the doctor office can recommend u some different types.good luck
