  1. I posted a second time because it didn't appear that my first post took. Which brings me to a new problem: How do you delete a post? It was very simple with the old format.
  2. I have an apostrophe in my username and wasn't able to login at first and had to create a new account but now I am able to with my original username and password.
  3. I have an apostrophe in my username and I am able to login but I wasn't at first and had to start a new account, which wiped out my previous number of posts. But so far I have been able to login with my original username and password.
  4. Maybe a different CPAP might work. The nasal pillows are a lot less suffocating and easier to use for some people. Also, your sleep apnea might not be weight related. Normal weight people have sleep apnea, too. Good luck.
  5. Yes, it's been fixed. Thank you.
  6. Since my daughter works later today and is off Tuesdays, I had Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday with her, my son-in-law, my son, daughter-in-law and two new grandsons - 6 months and 2 months. It was a blessing to have them and I am thankful but holidays are difficult, too, as I lost my husband to cancer 5 years ago. He was only 56 and didn't live to see his grandchildren. But today I am going to my son-in-law's parents and am bringing a mixed berry pie and pumpkin roll. Thanksgiving is only one day a year - so I am not interested in articles about how to make the dinner with fewer calories. I want the traditional meal with all the trimmings. There is no harm in enjoying this one day. HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!
  7. Sarah Palin and the teaparty. And I concur about reality tv.
  8. Same thing happened to me. I had to re-register and now the number of posts I have posted started over from zero. It had me down as a newbie.
  9. Thanks, I think I have that part worked out now. The jumbled forum titles still exist and I hate that the number of my former posts were erased since I had to re-register to login.
  10. Well, I was finally able to login with my username and the password I always used. Alex sent me a new password, that didn't work. So, I guess the jumbled words, and the incorrect number of my posts are the only issue now.
  11. Thank you for this information. Can you tell me what personal conversations are - are those PM's? Also, what is inline notification. I don't want to receive any emails so I didn't check that for anything. I also don't want to recieve a private notification when someone quotes me. What do I check or uncheck for that? Also, these three forums are jumbled with words on top of words and I can't read them: Monthly Lap Band Support Group, Social Group and Talk Magazine. Is anyone else getting this? One more thing - how do I change that it says newbie under my username and will it ever show the number of posts I had before I had to re-register to get on?
  12. I found my PM's but I don't want to get one everytime someone quotes my post. Anyone know how to stop that? I am unsure about the notification options and how to use them. I am beyond frustrated. And it has me down as a newbie because I had to re-register to get on. I am a veteran poster. Another frustration. Ugh!!
  13. I have had trouble logging in. Alex had to send me a new password. Plus some of the long forum titles are jumbled together. I can't read them. I don't understand the notification choices. I don't want to get a PM everytime someone quotes my post. Does anyone know how to change that? Thanks.
  14. I don't know where my PMs are either. I haven't been able to PM any moderator except Alex - it says they aren't accepting messages. I usually turn my computer off at night but since I have had trouble logging in with my username and password without re-registering, I am afraid I won't be able to get back on. Any suggestions about this? Alex said to PM him with my info and he would consolidate my accounts, and I did, but I don't think it's happened. Can you do that?
  15. I am sure Alex is overwhelmed. I guess I am the only one who had problems logging in with their username and password. But I hate everything about this site. Some of the forums that have lists are all jumbled together and I can't read them. And I still don't know where to go to see my received and sent PM's. I am ready to scream!!!
  16. I usually turn off my computer at night but I'm afraid I will have to log in again and have more problems. What if it doesn't let me use either email address? Then I'm out of luck and won't be able to log in unless I change my username or something. Plus since this site is seeing me as a new register I am coming up as a newbie. If this keeps happening and I can't get on, well, I guess that will be it for me. Unless I hear from Alex what to do.
  17. I saw this information on Huffington Post. Did you have any sign in problems? It must just be me. I PM-ed Alex but it hasn't been solved. I'm afraid to turn off my computer as I might not be able to sign back in. I had to re-register with a different email address to log in.
  18. Could you log in under your username and password? I couldn't. It said either/or was invalid. I had to re-register with a different email address because when I used my email address it said "already in use" - YEAH, by me!!! I posted this and Alex said to PM him and he would consolidate my two accounts. Hasn't happened and when I went to log in later today, the same thing happened. Plus I can't find my PM's. I hate this new format. Where can I turn for help and what do I do if I can't log in again?
  19. I hate it! I have been having sign-in problems. I have to re-register everytime. It's frustrating. I can't find my received and sent PM's.
  20. I have been unable to sign in using my username and password without re-registering and using a different email because it says my original email address is already in use - yeah, by me. So why isn't it remembering me? Plus some of the forum topics are jumbled together and I can't read them - like the list of states, etc. Where are all my PM's stored? Both received and sent? Needless to say, I am very frustrated. And because I had to re-register it has me down as a newbie. Geez!!! I have posted on the technical forum and an adminstrator had me PM him with the details and he said he would merge my accounts but I am still having problems. It is very frustrating!!!!!
  21. A must watch - Alan Grayson explains in terms everyone can understand what the tax cut to the millionaires can do: Daily Kos: Alan Grayson Nails Republicans. And Their Tax Cuts!!
  22. Republicans hate women -but love their votes: Republicans to Women "You're Not Worth It". Updated Share2 0 Wed Nov 17, 2010 at 10:47:29 PM PST Women fell two votes short on Wednesday to coming closer to getting paid the same as men for the same work. Senate Republicans decided that equal pay for women should not even be considered, as they blocked the Paycheck Fairness Act from moving to the floor. Is it any wonder I despise republicans both intellectually and viscerally? How any woman can even be a part of the 'conservative' movement beats the hell out of me. Oh and what a f***ing surprise: All Republicans voted no along with Ben Nelson of Nebraska, the lone dissenting Democrat. Seriously who cannot support equal pay for equal work? Could it be republicans voted against it because satan herself Hillary Clinton originally sponsored the bill? They won't even allow it to be debated, shame on them. When we only earn 77% of what our male counterparts earn equal pay would reduce the pool of cheap labor. Yet I see this was going to be the year of the momma grizzly, yeah right, how did that turn out? dailykos
  23. Our entire middle class is going to collapse. It has been sinking for the last 30 years due to republican and Wall Street values. We are going to become a two class country - the very rich and the poor. Those who aren't poor enough for the few crumbs thrown to them will have to come under the republican banner: " You're on your own." Lost your job? You're on your own. Lost your health insurance? You're on your own. Lost your home? You're on your own. Lost your retirement savings/investments? You're on your own. Sick? You're on your own. Other countries like China, India and Brazil will be surpassing us because they are making investments in their future, while the republicans will be figuring out how to make cuts in everything (except military and tax cuts for the rich). How are we going to be a leader in the 21st century if we are not willing to invest in clean energy, better rail and transportation, infrastructure, education, research and development and get back to manufacturing things? We're sure not going to do that with the republican agenda of cutting spending and tax cuts.
  24. Talk to your obstetrician about a bariatric doctor in your area. S/he might be able to contact one and get you an appointment. Your doctor calling might be more effective. I am assuming you are under the care of an obstetrician. Have you been able to swallow the prenatal Vitamins? I know they are big. I think whoever is handling your prenatal care should be able to help you manage all of this. Good luck.
