  1. I second that. We have all invested so much in the change we are making in our lives. We can give up. Good luck we are all behind you and all those struggling.
  2. Glad to know that things are coming together for you. Keep a positive attitude and your day will be here soon. Congrats.
  3. Thanks for sharing. It is a nice reminder to that we need to take them.
  4. I agree it is probably the hemroids. But please keep an eye open in case it continues to happen. I would get a hold of your doctor if it does. Take care and don't worry.
  5. Gas

MOMW replied to LovinMe2013's topic in The Gals' Room
What you are experiencing is totaly normal. You are still getting rid of the gas from surgery. Your stomach and such are still recovering and adjusting too. Walking will help to get things settled. The bottle may be a small culprit. I would suggest trying a glass. I do better with that for most things. Just keep the faith. Everyday is one step closer to the new you.
  6. I am 8 months out and just did a check up of what I was actually eating. I noticed my carbs were a little high and my protein could be upped. I would suggest track and measure your food intake for a few days to see if you have any weak spots, and adjust as needed. I would also look at your activity and make some changes there to shake your body up. Lastly check your fluid intake as this too can play a part. I joined weight watchers to help me stay accountable and supported. Hope it works for you. It does for me. And congrats on your upcoming wedding!
  7. My morning is Iron C B complex D3 Child multi with iron B12 sublingal lunch 2 calcium citrate dinner 2 calcium citrate Child multi with iron I also take additional 2 stool softeners, benefiber and previcid as needed.
  8. I had a band for a year and was doing well. But it slipped and I could not eat or drink, so it had to be removed. After 3 months and healed, I was sleeved. This is by far the better choice for me. It was not an option that my team was doing when I had my band.
  9. Did you eat or drink something new yesterday? Or maybe have a larger portion of something? These things could cause that. I would try to get up and move around. This should help move that around. Sorry I cannot be more of a help though.
  10. I am 8 months out and cannot to bread well at all. Try but it maybe hard. I had no problems with my band but a no go with slreve
  11. Great job. Keep it up.
  12. Aetna is who I have also. We are very lucky. So don't worry. Just keep the positive attitude as you look forward to the new you.
  13. Each insurance has multiple plans. It depends on your plan as to what is covered and the requirements. Your Bariatric center works with insurance all the time and they speak that insurance language when talking to your company. For your own ease of mind call both to reconfirm the requirements for your specific plan. You are very lucky if this is your actual plan. I know mine was very similar but I had to meet the bmi requirements. Good luck.
  14. I am 8 months out and my guilty preasures of choice right now are peanut butter and frozen Greek yogurt.
  15. Id be interested too ad I can only get to them and the blogs from my pc
  16. You look great! What a wonderful job you have done! I know looking at pictures is one of the only ways that I can see my results. You are an inspiration! .
  17. I would just try a couple. They help but not like a laxative. If I need that then I use the benefiber. You may not go everyday like you used to but if it less than every other then I start the benefiber.
  18. What you are experiencing is very normal. The pain mess have something to do with this. You just need to be mindful until you get into a good pattern. I am out 8 months. I still take 2 stool softeners daily and if things start to get irregular I start benefiber powder for a couple of days
  19. Only thing I can suggest is to discuss with your doctor.
  20. Good luck on your new plan. You can do it.
  21. I like it. Each bead is a story and helps Mr to see how far I have came. I also get a nice braclet out of it.
  22. I have a bracket that I add a bead to for every 10 pounds lost.
  23. Glad you are doing well and on your way. A mew life is on its way.
  24. I feel so bad for you. If only we were all just wealthy and didn't ever have that stress. Keep your attitude positive and here's hoping that everything lines up so you can get it done sooner than later.
  25. Good lick in your decision. Remember though that being alive and enjoying life is better than the alternative. Here is hoping that he changes his mind.
