1. I told my 7 year old daughter and she proberly told the whole school. She also trys to act like me when I eat, sometimes when things get stuck you grab your chest and she does the same thing. She says oh my chest hurts too and grabs her chest which she are I never done before being banded. It is really cute but you may just want to keep it to yourself that you are having surgery.
2. Does anyone know of a reasonable priced plastic surgeon in or around the New Orleans area?
3. I was having the same problem. I work shift work, 2 weeks days and 2 weeks nights. I don't have a problem when I work nights but it is almost impossiable during the day cause I work 12 hrs a day. I have a small child that is in 2nd grade. She has homework and I need to fix Dinner. I will just have to get up with the (4:20ish) people. Thanks I didn't even think of that!
4. I defintly needs some support right now. I have been on a plateau for about 6 weeks now. I have started walking 30 min a day and still nothing. I have slacked off on water, which I need to start getting my water in again. I am going for a fill tomorrow so I hope that does the trick.

11. DOn't worry after surgery and after the healing, you will forget you even had surgery. Sometimes I forget about it until I take too big of a bite and then I remember. You really feel normal after, you can't tell that you have something in your body. Don't be scared. Just do what they tell you to do. Good Luck to everyone!

13. How is everyone doing? Its been a while since I came on. I am at a stand still but not complaining. I know this is a life long thing, I will get there. I have been wanting to exercise but never got there yet. I do a lot of yard work but I guess thats not good enough. Well talk to you guys later.
14. Thankyou Sunshine! I hope to get started Friday.
15. I would use sick days, I am sure you will be a little sore at least for a week. It all depends on how your employer lets you take your time. It also depends on your job. Do you have to move a lot (walk quick) because I found that my prt would get a little sore from walking too fast and too much for about the first few weeks.
16. I am 5 months posts, I started losing more hair than I used to but, not enough to really complain about because I have very thick hair. I just started taking a hair vitamin this week but I also need to increase my protein. I have been lacking on that!
17.
Just was wondering if anyone's band ever slipped on this thread? It looks like everyone is doing really well. I worry so much that might band will slip, I guess I need to get this out of my mind. Am I the only one that does not have an exercise routine? It is so hard to fine the time after working a 12 hour shift. I hope everyone keeps the good work up. Have a great week!

18. Sue sorry to hear about your lost, I lost a nefew a couple of weeks ago in a car crash. Hang in there. How is everyone doing with the weight loss, I haven't really been on in a while. Too busy with the summer. I feel like I am stuck. I have been picking on chips, something I really didn't do before. Well I will chat later. It looks like a few of what I seen are really doing well.
19. Are you sure you have a band? Where did you get it done at?

22. I feel the same way I am down 42lbs I want to lose about 45 more. I should way between 130-145 with my height but I would be happy at 160. My husband tells me I am good the way I am, he likes a thick women...lol.
23. Make sure they put you a band and not just a port. It happen to someone that goes to the same Dr as me. she went for a fill and did not have a band.
