5/27/09 Fancy Pants

Funny!!! Hey, if it makes you feel better, I know I have you beat on my saved pants. I have bins of every size. I could not just get rid of Levis, that never felt right. Any other brand I could. I am loving just being able to breath and feeling the baggyness. (something about baggy pants even though they are size 16, makes you feel thin)

You are a hoot! I love your blog entries - they always make me smile. I remember everything you mentioned in your post - and I probably still have some of those pants as well!

I think I had those exact same acid washed pants!!! We called them paper bag jeans because you flipped the top down...they were so acid-washed that when you were about to step into them you could see beams of light coming in through the acid streaks!!

LOL!! I had to buy a book on re-designing and sewing jeans so I could fit my old jeans! LOL! Okay, remind me not to get the big hair back, too?

Since no one was too appalled (and there are other savers out there and those who WISH they'd saved) I'm taking that as a license to wear these if I want...and I'm taking pics of me in some of my 'fancy pants' as I work my way down the rack...my neighbors are going to think I've finally lost it (can't wait for the ones with the fringe going down the seam, hey, they were in! Ooo and I have ones with stars and a matching sweater vest!). Well, I'm at least going to try them on to make me feel skinny!

Lena- Jeans have got to be HARD to resew!!! I remember making jeans into skirts (yeah that hippy look) and they're so thick! You go girl!

...And I swear that Dude has a dog on his head!

BG I just sold all my size 22/24 on ebay as you start getting smaller list them in lots I got almost a hundred bucks for 15 shirts and 79.00 for 10 pairs of pants then use the money to shop!! That bottom picture is the funniest thing I have ever seen!

Seriously, is that a boy child or girl child? Too funny!
