5 days post banding

i sit here now as i have been to weak and shakey to do so...... i sure dont feel great, not even close... i just hope that i have made the right discision the pain is not bad however the discomfort is almost unbearable at times.... i have not left my house yet

You have made the right decision. My surgery was in February and I underestimated how the first 10 days would go in terms of how I felt. Getting out of bed was the worst. By week 3 I felt great. Have had 2 fills and that is all I need for now. Lost 47 pounds (still have 80 to go). Hang in there - you just had abdominal surgery and you will get better soon.

Yes, you definitely made the right decision! It may seem rough right now, but in the end it will be all worth it. The only thing I suggest is getting up and moving around as much as you can. Even taking a short walk will help the pain and you will be able to recover faster.

It took me 2 full weeks before I felt better. It's really a major surgery. Your body needs time to heal. You have made a wonderful decision. Happy Birthday to the new you!
