Pushing it, I guess....

So, 1 week after surgery, I was doing lawn mowing. 2 weeks after surgery, I am weed-eating and moving stuff around in my garage. I guess maybe I pushed it a little too far, because now I have a pain in my side whenever I take a deep breath, right at the top of the inhalation. I tend to be a deep breather, probably from long-time CPAP use. I was scared I had popped a hernea or something, but the nurse said most likely I just strained a side muscle. And it is better today, so I guess I got lucky...

Had my 2-week followup yesterday, and at their scale I am at 368. My own scale is driving me crazy, because it gives radically different results each time I step on it. So, using only the doctor's scales, I have lost 21 pounds since I started this, and I am 63 pounds off my all-time recorded high of 431.

LAP-BAND Patients

Congrats! I found that I got a Weight Watchers digital scale and put in the same area each time and it has been pretty acurate. My only problem is I have to fight with myself not to step on daily :-)

Good Luck!
