you said it so perfectly, bg. to be free of food ruling you would be the biggest joy. I too did this because I know I can't count the points of every morsel for the rest of my life. I hope the LB teaches me to recognize when to stop and allows me to have a "normal" life someday. hang in there lady! I know I suck at keeping secrets so I have told those most important to me. and human nature being what it is I'm sure word is spreading as we speak. But I will have to set limits with them as to what they are able to say to me about it. I will not tolerate negativity and if they can't get be supportive, I don't have time for them in my life. these are the times when you find out who really cares.

LAP-BAND Patients

You really said it all. I did recently read a blog of someone who was a year or two out and they said exactly what you are hoping to say. They said the best thing is that food just isnt important anymore. Thats the thing that people who arent like us can never understand. I am always anticipating what I am going to eat or feeling guilty about what I did eat...its would be laughable if it werent so sad! We are on our way girl!!! P
