5 hours of sliming !

I brought home a piece of birthday cake and had a few bites about 9pm.

I starting sliming and it lasted until 3 am.= 5 hours!

I have experienced this before but the longest it lasted was 2 hours., this time it lasted 5 hours and I was wondering if it would ever stop.

I guess it is called sliming....please let me know.

No food came up...it was like dry heaving every few minutes but siliva (sp?) comes up with foam.....tons of it.

I am surprised a little bit of cake could have caused it....I thought it happens with a piece of meat not chewed well enough.

I do know about p.b.-ing, that is when you throw up food and then you feel fine. But I want to make sure this 5 hr. sliming is sort of common.

Today I am on liquids and protein drinks....there is some pain when I drink.

Please let me know of your similar experiences.

Thank you, Loree

I have never slimed for that long, but I have had birthday cake stick on me. I drank a little coffee and it made the cake go down. Try a warm beverage next time, or like me now, just avoid that dang cake! :/

Well I can't imagine sliming for that long, but it sounds to me like you are had PB'ing. Vomiting the thick white foamy slime. Sliming is just the slime forming in your mouth and throat. Once I actually had a PB'ing episode I thought it was awfully funny people downsize it to PB'ing. I'm surprised that cake caused that unless it formed a ball of goo in your pouch and nothing could get through. You plugged your stoma.

Good luck and be careful.
