LAP-BAND Patients

Hi Mimi,

I had the surgery last June and the only time I have thrown up is if i have eaten something that wouldn't go down past the band. You don't throw up all the time. In fact i think, in the 8 months since surgery I've thrown up maybe 6 times. You just have to be careful about what you eat. Alot of it is trial and error. I cant handle untoasted bread, muffins, pancakes, and really dry meats. Good luck!! It was the best thing ive ever done for myself!!
