I had my band put on Monday. Its now Friday. I am feeling pretty good and so far I am very happy I did it. Its doing what it is supposed to - I can hardly finish my protein shake.

 

Still swollen and feeling like my belly is extended. I have weighed myself and have not lost anything since surgery. I have been told this is due to the IV fluids and just surgery in general. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

 

Also, I have been walking a little everyday and feeling better by the day. But the inside of my stomach is still pretty sore. It really hurts when I get in and out of bed or up/down from a chair. How long does that part usually last?

 

Any info would help!
