Reflux.. does anyone have issue with reflux

Next month will be a year and I am pretty happy with my weight loss, I have lost 82 pnds. Since I am coming up on my year my Doc sent me to have an upper GI study..yuk. They found that I have a major reflux problem, I have been having some acid reflex problems that past couple of weeks but nothing major, however from the looks of the xrays i am having major reflux issues? Has anyone had this problem and if so what was the outcome? Let me know as I don't have a doc appt till middle of April.

Over a month ago I got my second fill. If i eat and later take a nap, I wake up with that acid taste in back of my throat. Whats up with that? Am I overeating at lunch or

should I not take naps in afternoon?

I think...but I'm not certain, that if you have regular acid reflux it's a sign that your have too much fill in your band. Are you having any other symptoms that your band is too full? I could be wrong, but I don't experience acid reflux at all.

I also have been banded for alomost a year and i am having awful acif reflux. First they told me i can't eat past 6pm. finally after it not going away i had to have 2 unfills because i keep throwing up all the time. The problem is still happeneing. I take 1 Prilosec and 2 Pepcid's a day plus tums and malox and no relife. This sucks. I hope they can help you before you get worse. Good Luck

I also am having major reflux issues. I cough as soon as I lay down, sometimes it takes 2 hours for me to fall asleep w/ lots of pillows holding me up. Nothing is helping for me. I had some fill taken out, so I don't think that is the problem. I welcome any suggestions on how to resolve the problem Prilosec / rolaids/ etc. does not work for me.

I have the same problem. I lay sitting up and doesnt help liquids comes up right away every like two hours...I had a fill of .2 cc and before that I was experiencing as well but not that bad..
