No restriction!

I'm struggling with the fact that I have not felt any restriction or full feelings since I've had the surgery!! I feel satisfied with the food mentally but I want to feel my band working!! I just started with mushy and solid foods this weekend and they are going thru just fine... I know my doctor won't do a fill for 6 weeks and I'm only 2 weeks into this...so I could put on everything I've lost in the next 4 weeks..I'm doing myself to count calories and not go crazy but portion control is my problem!! I'm really down about it and cant stop worrying!

hello, well i can understand where you are coming from but if you think you have problems listen to mine well i was banded on the 5 th of feb. and i am told to stay on liquids untill the 18th of feb. my band has very little if any restriction and I am hungry like crazy i was good for the first couple of days but since yesterday i cant believe how hungry . I am so scared to stretch my band but to day (i am so imbarssed to say) I ATE A SMALL buritto from toco bell it was just the shell and the beef i ate less then half but never the less I ATE HALF OF IT AND ENJOYED EVERY BITE. It was a little uncomfortable but nothing too bad. It hurt me emotionally more so then anything i feel like such a loser. sorry for venting on your blog but i just needed to get that out and i dont think i will be bloging on my blog today i am far to imbaressed. See I hope you realize your situation isnt half as bad ;]

OMG... I;m so glad i found this blog... I have been feeling the same.. I got banded on June 4th. I'm already on mushy food. Mushy Meaning (eggs, mashed potatoes, meat loaf, fish) and I feel no restriction! I do stop myslef from eating, but I feel like they forgot to put the band in. To my understanding, the bad is not even filled yet.. untill your first fill, you may not feel any restriction! I can't wait till my first fill!!
