1st Fill.
I went for my 1st Fill apt today. It was rather interesting. I laid down on a hospital bed & they had an Xray thing to check things out. They found my port this way. It as totally in a different place that I thought that it was. It was lower than my incision site. Then they poke me with a needle. I asked for lidocaine, but they have to inject that one too, so it would've been 2 sticks with a needle. Yeah- never mind. It wasn't that bad. They said that filled me up for 2ccs. So, for the rest of the day, I am to be on liquids only. The next 3 days will be soft/mushy foods.
Well, it's been 6 hours past my fill.. I can't feel the difference yet. I have drank an Adtkins drink, V-8 & had some jello.
