No insurance coverage - no problem

Well since my insurance company doesnt cover any form of weight loss I am left on my own to pay for it. The cost is $12,900 and I am going to finance most of it. I feel like my life and my body is more than worth the price. I live in Houston and my surgeon is going to be Dr. Spivak. I've heard a lot of good things about him and he made me feel very comfortable at the seminar and private consultation. My surgery is set for Friday, 2-20. I am getting more and more anxious as the day draws closer. A friend of mine was banded over 2 years ago and went to Mexico to have it done. It would be cheaper to go there but I am too chicken.

I have been trying to mentally prepare for this but I hate the unknown.

I am only 5'1" so every pound I have put on and plan to take off once and for all is really noticed.
