It gets easier

It's getting easier, I had my surgery on Jan 7th and I got on the scale last night and I have lost a total of 12 pounds I couldnt believe it, it's the one thing that keeps me from going insane now that I dont have my comfort food anymore. This journey is going to be life changing I am so excited to have been givin a chance of a life time to finally lose all this weight. I miss food but I cant make it my life anymore, I am learning that you have to find other things to do to comfort your self instead of always heading to the cupboard or the fridge like I always use to do. I call this stage my detox stage because I no longer have my drug. I love seeing everyone's photos of how much weight they have lost it motivates me to be strong and to be able to get through this. Having this site is nice because it makes me feel that I am not alone, we all have each other....
