Port Revision??

Hello, I had the lap band 05/07/07 and I'm at my goal wieght, my port really sticks out and gets in the way even.

I just got authorization from my ins. for the revision and were gonna due it in Jan/09 . My question is how long will I need off work, I dont want to really take any time cause I dont have the sick time!! And do they fill me again right away or do I wait??? I can take 4 days off work thats about it.
