Has anyone had to do a Upper GI?

I have an appt. tomorrow to meet with the surgeon. I thought I was so close to getting approved when the insurance coordinator called and ask if I had an upper gi. I said no then she says she has to see what the doctor says. Now yesterday I called and ask if there was anything else i needed to do and she says no, I was all set he just needed to sign me off . I guess I am getting frustrated, because this surgery is taking a toll me. So now I dont know if I have to get this procedure done, then when I go to make an appt. they will probally make it another month ahead . Then that will put me behind in the surgery process. Just venting!
