1 Week Post-Op

I started out at 235 before surgery and was up to 237.5 afterwards. This morning I am finally down to 230.5 so I can officially say -4.5 lbs. since surgery.

Overall I'm doing very well since surgery. When I get in and out of bed there is a particular area that bothers me (stiches) and I believe it is right above the port area. I bruise very easily too so the upper part of my stomach is black and blue.

This next information may be TMI for some so don't read. I finally had a bm this morning and feel so much better.

Today is the first day of school for me. I am taking Microbiology and a psychology class, the last two classes I need before applying to the nursing program this next January. I can't believe my goal is so close now.
