Getting a little closer

Well,

At this point I just need to have the GB ultrasound and the upper GI. Then, I go to see Dr. Steinberg for my surgery date.

It looks like it will be sometime in October.

It is still far away, but it seems more of a reality. I am conflicted as to who I should tell and when...I will think about it.

I'm right there with you on wondering who to tell...I don't think it's everyone's business.

It will be here before you know it! (that's what I'm hoping for me!)

Living My Dream

LAP-BAND Patients

I was banded in January 2008 and I didn't want to tell anyone except my husband. I got more comfortable as I lost weight. When my husband was banded in August I decided I didn't care who knew. I had made the right decision and I am so happy finally losing weight and it's not coming back on. I love my band. I don't broadcast it, but if it comes up in conversation, I tell people. So far everyone has been very supportive. Good luck with your band.
