aclubb LAP-BAND Patients August 6, 200817 yr Author stats CONGRATS! That is amazine news. I can't wait to say that. What do you think has helped you most along the way?
honeysucklelee LAP-BAND Patients August 7, 200817 yr Author stats Thank you. I would say that I have worked hard at not letting my temptations get the better of me. I have been working out almost the whole time. At first it was just walking 30 mins a day but I keep adding more. I do yoga twice a week and I have started riding my bike. I have also tried to remain very positive even when I have hit a plateaus I know that they won't last forever and I need to make an adjustment to what I am either eating or doing to try and get it going again. As long as it isn't going back up then that is something. Victory just isn't in the scale it is also in the things you accomplish that you couldn't do before. I can ride a bike...comfortably. I can do yoga. I can go for long walks with out my feet hurting for weeks after. I can go from my basement to my second floor bedroom and not be out of breath on the verge of a heart attack. Just remember this is about more than a number. I hope this helps. If you have any questions or just needs someone to talk too. Feel free to lean on me. Shannon
