Day 10 Liquid Diet

I'm almost half way there and I thought this was going to be the hardest part of my journey. I was so excited today when I discovered the Vitamin Shoppe and all the new flavors of protein drinks they had. At least now I have variety. Just a few more days of being able to enjoy my dinner salads then only protein drinks for me until my surgery day. I'm proud of myself and even happier to see the scale drop a little. Can't wait to see what my end weight pre-surgery will be.

LAP-BAND Patients

Hi there, I'm on day 8 of my pre op diet. Have 3 meal replacement shakes, 2 pieces of low carb fruit and 2 cups of low carb vegies a day. I'm soooooo hungry by night time. Only 14 days to go. I've lost 5.5 kg (nearly 1 stone) in weight so that's pretty exciting. But I'm so over it. I can't wait to eat real food again. And it's hard with 3 kids and a hubby to cater for, although hubby has been doing a lot of their cooking as I'm so hungry at night I can't deal with it. Even feeding the baby her weetbix this morning I was tempted to have a teaspoon of it!!!LOL!!!

Anyway, hang in there. Won't be long and we'll be banded and we won't have to face another meal replacement shake if we don't want to!!!
