4 months post op

Okay, so it's 4 months post op and I'm 19 lbs down. Starting to keep up with my caloric intake like I should have been doing all along but just got lazy. I surely don't want this to be all for nothing. I just thought surgery would make losing easier for me but it's still alot of work. Very frustrating but I'm willing to keep up with the progress because I've spent alot of money and have some limitations that I can't ignore.

Have you gotten a fill yet? I am 39 days post-op and get my first fill tomorrow. I have lost 42 pounds but these past two weeks I have had to be very disciplined cause I am so hungry...I really need that fill.

Are you drinking with your meals? Are you doing this low carb? What does your doc say about your weight loss?

Everyone loses weight differently...I am sticking with a low carb diet and exercising.

I've had 3 fills. I am up to 3.5cc's. I feel that the band is working because I am definately restricted to small meals. I also exercise at least 4 times a week. The doc is okay with the weight loss. He seems to think that everyone is different and that it will eventually start coming off...we'll see....
