What am I gonna do????

ok there is a serious problem. my husband doesnt agree with me having any weight loss surgery and he sure doesnt agree with me thinking about going to allow Dr. A in mexico to perform the procedure. we have went on and on and on about this. i have to have his approval because he has to help pay for the loan that i am going to try and get!:cool:

I agree that your husband has to be on board and believe in the help you will receive. From a cost effectiveness, price out the cost if you get Type II diabetes, leg problems from being overweight, compromised immune system, being unable to work or take care of your family, the fact that obesity can prematurely terminate your life. Play hardball, make him understand that this is needed for your health both mental and physical! Perhaps you can have your primary care doctor talk to him and explain the danger you are in. Have you looked into the more cost effective doc in the states? My doctor in Colorado does the surgery and 3 months pot op care (including fills) for $9950. I know that Mexico may be cheaper for the surgery, but when you add up the flights and hotel stays, it might be better to do it here.
