Day 2 Pre-Op

Well, i have figured out that if i eat a large breakfast im not as hungry and i dont snack during the day time. But i was kinda bad today....i am not going to be bad anymore tho! :fish:I am fully comitted to the band and that is how its going to have to be.:thumbs_up: My mother on the other hand sent my grandma a text message saying that she was hungry and didnt have any money. So who gets to send my mother money...ME.:cursing: As much as she fucks up and doesnt take care of her responsibilities i still cant tell my mother i wont give her money for food when she says shes hungry and doesnt have any money to buy something to eat. :confused5:Intervention just doesnt work in my case, i dont have any family except for my mom(who is a alcoholic/drug user), grandmother and my aunt (who is a alcoholic). Today i was thinking i dont think i have even met my real mother bc the only mother i have ever known has always been on drugs and alcohol.:smile2: So how do you tell family no when we are all that each other has. :angry_smile:ERRRR i wish they would both get better!

Today I ate:

-3 scrambled eggs, 3 turkey bacon, 1 wheat tortilla and 1 f/f peach yogurt

-apples and peanut butter

-2 burritos from Taco Bell

-Protein Drink

Sweetheart, do NOT give her money, buy her the food yourself. If you live to far away, send it to a neighbor to buy it for her.

Uggghhhhh.........that is like the homeless people here in Houston, and Lord only knows tht our homeless population for exceeds the population of most small towns.

I will NEVER give them money, but I will go to a McDonalds or whatever is close and buy them food. I have ZERO problems with doing that, because most of them are either alcoholics or drug addicts and all they are going to do with the $$$ is buy whatever it is they are addicted to.

Just do yourself and favor and try every route possible to get her fed WITHOUT sending her the money!!! You will feel so much better knowing that you helped her out without feeding her PROBLEM!!!!

BTW...I hate you.......I want a friggin buritto from taco hell.......uggghhhhhh!!!

I completely understand what ya mean about buying her food instead of sending cash. Shes all the way up in oklahoma and im down here in houston. so iv tried getting walmart gift cards and that doesnt work bc then she buys beer at walmart. :thumbs_up: I have just givin up. I tried to be mean to her but she doesnt get it. as much as she makes my life hell when she lives here i told her she needs to start considering coming back to houston and getting a job bc the money is getting cut off and she is GOT to find a job. :biggrin2: thank you for your advice tho. i really appreciate it!!! I know it is hard, but for your own best interest, you need to STAY STRONG!!!! Once you manage to say no the first time and stick to it, it will get easier and easier. Eventually, she will realize her free ride is over and stop even asking you. Until she admits she needs help and gets it, there is nothing you can do.

My doctor has put me on a seven day liquid diet with Optifast and clear liquids only I am having such a hard time does anyone know if I can eat something that wont be to harmful. I am on day three and going crazy, Help
