Not getting banded

Well my insurance rejected me so I'm not getting banded. It's okay though. I decided to attack the fat anyway. I've got monthly appointments with my doctor and a dietitian and I'm going to give it everything I've got and see what happens. Good Luck to everyone out there.

Don't give up that easy, APPEAL! I got turned down the first time and appealed and got approved. I have offered my appeal letters as samples to anyone out there and personally know of several that have been approved on the second go-around.

Good luck to you whatever you decide.

Hello there, I also had to appeal. Then they approved with no problem. Alot of insurance companies turn you down the first time to see if you will go away. Don't let them win. We pay good money for these benefits and we deserve them. With me the will probally be saving money within th eyear if I can get off the medications I'm on. Try it again.

Whats your BMI? Did they give you a reason for denial? If you really want it, appeal, seek out obesity law.com, they are good at helping you appeal the insurance denial.

Best wishes on whatever you choose to do....

I don't have co-mobitities and my BMI was 37.1. So they said I didn't meet the requirements. My BP is normal 120/68, no blood sugar issues, no heart problems, no cholesteral issues. I have been working with the dietian and my PCP for 4 weeks and have lost 10 pounds so I don't think they are going to appeal it. Thank you for your support.
