post op feelings

Just got the band Fri the 7th.Doing ok Have a lot of bloating from the carbon dioxide and worried about whether or not I have strained too much over the last few days and dislodged the port.

The doctors office answered all my questions and hopefully everything is still ok. They said stock up on the GASX strips and drink room temp liquids or WARM broths to help ease the feeling.

Bloating seems to be my biggest discomfort....how about anyone else?

I get a taste for some things, but I eat what Im supposed to and the feeling goes away.

Other than that...Im just really tired

I feel the exact same way as you. Was just banded on March 10th and gas is my biggest problem. I have not tried the gas-x strips but will definitely get some. I just keep walking, walking, walking around my house and that has eased it up some. Back pain is a big problem too, but I think that is just the gas. Very tired also, but I know that is from the anesthesia.
