The beginning

I will have my band surgery on Feb 10, 08, all being well. I need to loose 80 pounds to reach my goal of 135.

I don't have any pre-op diet requirements, and that concerns me somewhat. Nevertheless, I am spending the weekend prior to the surgery away exploring Medain Saleh, in Saudi Arabia, where I live for the time being.

At the moment, I don't know how much time to take off work.
