Shoulder Pain!!

OMG! The shoulder pain that your suppose to get got to me yesurday. It hit me all at once. I was at a party with some family members. My mom was at work And I wanted to go home. So I kept running to the bath room Crying because I didnt want no one to see me.:help:. It was killing me I thought I was dieing. I couldnt breathe. When I did It would hurt on my left shoulder and on my left side. The shouler pain is gone today. But the side pains and still there. It hurts so bad. I left the party and it sucked. My mom thought I was only trying to get out of the party because of the food because im still on my liquid phase. Well when I got into the car. I busted out in tears.:think I was screaming while on the way home. People probally thought I was in Labor. I've never been pregnant before, But im sure labor wasnt anything as painful as what i went through yesurday. Well today is my last day of liquid phase. So tonight We're going out to eat and im gonna get something that i can eat.:eyebrows: Something mushy.:hungry:. Tomarrow I have a follow up at 8 something. Hopefully he says something good.

You know, it's true, you can get shoulder pain and it's pretty uncomfortable. The kind of excruciating pain you are describing sounds much more like Gallstones to me. I had them and had to have my gallbladder removed. I've been in labour and gallstones is worse!!!!! The pain can be in your side, your back or just below you breastbone. It feels like you are being stabbed with hot knives and you can't breathe. These attacks could last up to 6 hours for me and culminated in 2 trips in an ambulance. Get it checked. Easily done with an ultrasound. Good luck.

I have been talking a friend that had the surgery last year, they also had the pain. I found a site which refers to the pain from the diaphragm nerve being irritated during surgey. My pain comes and goes-no real correspondence to anything except for carrying items in the left arm-I am 3 weeks out from surgery. Just trying to avoid that for know. Gas-x and other items have not helped--I am sure it is not gas.

I had that pain too. When it happened, I thought I had a blood clot or something it was soooo excruciating. I couldn't even move my left arm. I called the surgeon and asked if I should go to the ER??? He was like, that's what happens....Holy moly, I knew there would be shoulder pain, but I had no idea what that meant I guess. I had to miss work and stay home with a heating pad on my shoulder, in bed trying to stay as still as possible as the pain would come in and out in waves. It took 2 days to go away. The other day I felt it coming back and started praying. You are not alone in feeling this...just hang in there and take it easy. Drink in sips, eat slowly, walk a LOT....

i was banded may4, 2009 andf since this last fill i've been getting left arm/shoulder pain off and on.. It's very frustrating. I just want it to stop. It seem to start after i eat sometimes. and don't matter if i eat alot or a little. any ideas to prevent or relieve the pain?

I was banded last week and I had those dreadful shoulder pains for a few days. I found that putting a heating pad on my shoulder gave me lots of relief each time.

I haven't been banded yet but my shoulder pain last week turned out to be a heart attack or two. One of my coronary arteries was 100% blocked. It was the worst pain I had ever been in.

So I'd say, if you are feeling excruciating pain maybe it is worth a trip to the ER.
