1st FILL/ SHOOK UP!!!

My appointment was at 9:30 I didnt get seen until 11:00am * my doctor had a emergency surgery* No complaints about the wait.

I got nervous when it came time for the fill.....

1. He numbed me

2. I to hold my legs up *with assistance from his MA*:rolleyes

3. He told me to laugh because he could really feel my port that way:biggrin1:

4. BAM LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGG NEEDLE :omg: :omg:

5. NO PAIN:straight WEIRD FEELING

6. I had to sit up with the needle still in my tummy and drink water :speechles

7. I seen the LOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNGG Needle IN MY TUMMY:(

8. Forgot how to swallow:omg:

9. It took me 2 cups to water to remember how to swallow

10. Finally got go restriction

11. Laid down with LOOOOOOONNNGGG Needle still in

12. POP he pulled it out it felt so GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!NO Pain:speechles

13. Drunk water

14. Hiccups

15. Hiccups

16. Hiccups

17. I think I went in to ShOCk

18. BACK AT WORK

19. LIQUIDS ONLY TODAY

20. I go back in 5 weeks for another fill if needed

21. CURRENT WEIGHT 256

TOTAL POUNDS LOST IS 18 IN 6 WEEKS!

thank you for sharing that... I always wondered what happened during fills. I am a total needle phobic.
