Help! Approved for Surgery with Dr. Aceves

I am having surgery with Dr. Aceves April 1st and after researching I feel completely at ease with my decision. He is skilled... highly experienced and well known... all very important in my book! Your recovery will we in the hospital... the only night in the hotel is the night before surgery. I have heard the the hotel is beautiful and that the hospital is clean and fairly modern with up to date technology. If you do a search on You Tube using "Dr. Aceves" ... there are quite a few video testimonials from patients and a few show the interior of the hospital... I know that helped me feel more at ease with my decision as well. Good Luck with your Journey!

I did not have Dr. Aceves, but seriously... he's one of the best bariatric surgeons out there. Go to the Mexico section of this board and there are many here who will be happy to share their experiences first hand.

I'm heading there on april 8th and have a close personal friend that went to him as well. They had nothing to say but fantastic things about him, the hospital and the staff. I did my own research and when I told my friend who I had decided upon they were estatic at my choice. He does cost a little bit more but it's definitely nice not to have to worry about it being a "butcher" shop of some kind like in some of the horror stories I have seen.

I am scheduled with Dr. Aceves on 4/1 too! I will definitely be posting on how things go
