Where it all began....

Tonight hubby and I attended the mandatory seminar. I'm finally going to go through with this. My meeting with the surgeon is January 23rd. Now to figure out what I can do about insurance. I have BC/BS Maryland and they want me BMI to be 50. I'm at 45 so I'm hoping to switch. Maybe pick up a second insurance or switch when we have open enrollment at work! We'll see :)

Gastric Sleeve Patients

I have Aetna and they had no restrictions cuz mine is 40 nd really dont have any co morbs exceot GERD. got approved first try. The onlything is they are *** but we have the Fed govt ins one. Thay are good about paying for stuff. My only payment is 150.00 co pay for Hospital stay. Where in Md are you?Who is doing your surgery? I had to go to Hagerstown cuz no one else in my area ( MOnt co) did the surgeryor took my Ins.
