No Sleeve For Me!

Okay, so I just had my band removed and it's the worst experience ever. I honestly don't want to have another surgery EVER.

I have been scared before but nothing like this.

I don't believe I am going to go through with the sleeve now, I don't want to go under again or have this much trama.

Weird thing is I almost feel good about that decision!

I'm so sorry you had that awful experience. Surgery is traumatic!! I am so sorry you've been through this. You have to always make the decision that is right for you!! So you're right to only do what you feel is in your best interest!

I hope you're doing well now. "To sleeve or not to sleeve" is obviously your decision. My best to you for your future.

It's also ok to reassess the situation at a later date (i.e. change your mind) . I pray you heal quickly and completely !

I felt the same way in May when I had my band removed. My slip was so bad and painful. I couldn't eat or drink. I threw up about 25 times in 2 days. But after gaining 25-30 pounds since the band was removed and really trying to lose weight on my own...I have chosen to get the sleeve. Good luck!
