    That's great congratulations! If you don't mind me asking what insurance are you with and what's the process? I'm currently pregnant but after my pregnancy I'm very much needed this surgery! I'm 5'3 and weight 245 but I'm a but nervous, but I know it will be great! :)

    I have Emblem HIP, just got the ltr. today indicating i was approved YEYYY !!!

    U have to see your surgeon for 6 months in a row to weight in and go through all the testing and then of course they submit it to your insurance carrier for approval. I'm 5'2 and my last weight before the liquid diet was 239, which is a bit too high when it comes to my BMI at 45

    :-(.

    looking forward to having the surgery since ive been struggling with my weight since the age of 14-15. Going for it on 9/19/12, wish it was that date already bc this liquid diet is HORRIBLE :-(

    don't worry about the surgery just stay positive and think that it will all be worth it !!
