Umpa Lumpa Feeling

I think I need a therapist now. lol I have that Umpa Lumpa feeling. I guess it is the whole weight loss and people noticing thing. I feel the top half of my body shrinking, boobs are gone, I have a collar bone now. But, as far as my middle second stomach/thigh region I feel that it sticks out more now than it ever did. I don't know if i am doing something wrong or if it just has to work its way down. I was under the impression that walking would work the middle before the top. I think I am just mentally psyching myself out. I just hope I am doing everything right.

I'm losing the exact same way. I wish I had advice, but I think it just has to catch up to the rest of our bodies.

Gastric Sleeve Patients

I have always found it frustrating but true that we seem to lose from "our face" first....and other parts of our upper body. However, I do notice that my pants are more loose (I am down 25 pounds, 5 weeks post op), so I think the areas that are not as fat will take longer to look better. If you are measuring, I wonder if you are really just loosing on the top, or if it just seems that way?? Anyway, hang in there...at some point, as we continue to lose, it has to come from someplace and if it comes from the bottom last, so be it!! At least we will eventually be smaller all over! Ooops, I meant that the parts that are more fat will take longer to look better.
