The Dreaded Stall Is Over!

I am nearly a month out since my surgery and have been doing well! Lost 25 lbs, feeling good, everything I hoped this experience would be for me. THEN I hit the dreaded stall around 2.5 weeks. Not only was the stall frustrating but I stalled at 200.1lbs!!!! So for a week I watched that number just mock me! I read about how this happens to many of you and I knew I just had to get through it, but how could my body be so mean to stall so close to the 100's??!!!

Well, today I got on the scale and it said 198.1! I know I will hit more stalls along the way - all part of the process. But today is a great victory for me!

LAP-BAND Patients

Congratulations ! I know exactly how that feels, 200 has been haunting me for years, literally, I kept telling myself if I could JUST get under 200 I would have won the war. I too hope I won't be that mean to myself. I am 4 days post op and still in the dreaded 200's. I did lose 10 lbs pre-op so that helped. Kee on truckin, everyday will be a new victory for us !
